I'm just going to leap right in and stake my claim: I'm a writer. As for my other career, well it's an important part of my life. It helps to pay the bills and I am not dismissive of it, but it's not why you've come to my website. Leave it at that - I am a writer. 

Every writer is, or should be, a reader too. Ever since Tolkien grabbed me by the throat as a young whippersnapper, I have been a sucker for all kinds of speculative fiction, though I will insist that science fiction and fantasy are two entirely different genres, even allowing for the occasional crossovers. What else? Oh, I am a big fan of Shakespeare, and I read a lot of non-fiction, mainly history. 

Having recently published my first book: INVINCIBLE, Volume 1 of the Tanner Archives, I am now working on getting people to read it - hence this website and the links below which will take you to my various scintillating social media sites. I am also trying to keep up progress on my other writing projects. Volume 2 of the Tanner Archives is coming along well and finds Jack Tanner shipwrecked and marooned on a deserted planet....I know, it's like waiting for the next episode of Game of Thrones, isn't it? I don't know how you can stand it.

My other work in progress has the working title Tales of the Black Swan. In something of a genre flip it's an historical fantasy set in Elizabethan England.
